How Guidevio makes money: affiliate commissions, advertising placements, and the rules that keep them separate from editorial recommendations.
Where we are today
Guidevio is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. As an Amazon Associate, Guidevio earns from qualifying purchases. Where a guide links to Amazon, that link is tracked and may earn Guidevio a commission if you buy through it, at no additional cost to you.
Which links are tracked, and which are not
A tracked link sits behind the “Check price at Amazon” button in a guide and carries rel="sponsored nofollow". Where a product has no genuine Amazon listing, or the listing is a different model or variant from the one the guide describes, the button points to the manufacturer’s official page instead and earns nothing. Tracked retailer links are never used in the newsletter: email links go to Guidevio pages only.
What a commission never buys
Joining a program did not add a product to a list, move one up, or change what a guide recommends. Rankings were set before any program was joined, and a product that earns nothing stays on a list when it is the better answer for a reader.
Advertising
Reserved advertising slots on this site are clearly labelled and are sold separately from editorial. Advertisers see no guide before it is published and cannot request changes to one.
Sponsored content
Any sponsored placement is labelled at the top of the page and is kept out of ranked shortlists. A sponsored product is never presented as an editorial pick.
Prices and availability
Prices shown are the ones we saw on an official or retailer page on the date the guide was last updated. They can change without notice, and stock, colourways and warranty terms differ by country. Confirm the current price and terms with the seller before buying.
What we never publish
No invented reviews, ratings, star scores or test results. No fabricated testimonials, expert quotes, statistics or awards. No artificial urgency, and no claim that a product is the number one on the market.

Product names, brands and model numbers are the property of their respective owners and are used only to identify the products a guide describes.
